One prominent debate in some islamic websites is on the issue of whether the wahhabee movement(or its supporters) collaborated with the British in destroying the last Islamic state.The supporters of wahhabee movement strongly rejects such an accusation although their involvement with Britain is a well documented fact and this is corroborated by the fact that supporters of this movement(or the supporters of this school of thought) still maintain that Saudi Arabia is an Islamic state.It is indeed their shallow political awareness which led to the destruction of the Islamic state and the birth of the 'Middle Eastern problem' which we hear so much.

Similarly,the Adhaalath party in Maldives would adamantly deny they are collaborating with the Britain in constructing a 'political roadmap' for Maldives.And they would justify their meetings with the officials of the
British high commission in Colombo as 'information sharing' meetings as if the British foriegn office is not performing its designated functions properly.Britain being the mother of all colonialists do not need to be informed by a political party about the goings on in Maldives.So,these meetings could be held for the purpose of gauging the level of Islamic awareness amongst Islamic parties and to build 'frienship' ties with the leaders of the party.Interestingly enough,Britian is comfortable enough to allow the most radical variety of Islamic parties to operate in British soil and still be able to use those parties as expendable tools to advance British agenda.How could this be done ? Most of the leaders of these so called islamic parties are led by double agents linked to British government.This is something which even annoys the Americans because even the Americans do not have such expertise and hence cannot do any project without British assistance.But the Americans are trying to catch up with Britain.This could be the reason why the meeting between adhaalath party and British high commission official was immediately followed by a similar meeting with the American ambassador.Who offered the best business opportunity is unknown yet.

One can expect a great variety of arguments brought forward by supporters of adhaalath to defend their case.These arguments could range from 'If we can consult a kaafir doctor why cant we have a political discussion' to 'If we can use western products why cant we discuss politics with them'
