 Hadith of The Day

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ''All of my Ummah will enter Al-Jannah (Paradise) except those who reject.'' They said: O Messenger of Allah, who will reject? He said: ''Those who obey me will enter Al-Jannah, and those who disobey me are the ones to reject.''
Bukhari

Following the Messenger (saws) is a natural consequence of believing in the Aqeeda of Islam. And obeying the Messenger (saws) by taking his Sunnah as the only way of life is indeed an essential aspect of faith. As the hadith states that the one who obeys the Messenger will be saved from the punishment of Allah (swt) and will be rewarded by Jannah while those who reject will be deprived from the mercy of Allah the most merciful and will be placed in Hell. Muslims have forgotten this simple fact of their belief. Now they think they can still be good Muslims while they legislate for themselves by accepting democracy. They feel that praying five times a day and fasting the month of Ramadhan will be sufficient in pleasing Allah (swt). This Hadith proves this understanding to be wrong. This honourable hadith demands the general and absolute obedience to the Messenger as a condition to enter Paradise. Thus, all the laws which the Messenger (saws) brought (included in the Qur'an and Sunnah) must be obeyed to enter paradise. This idea of Muslims that they can live two lives; one of Islam by praying and fasting and one in accordance with other laws, is foreign to Islam. This is the very idea of secularism which is the bases of capitalism.

Muslims should know that the only way to please Allah is to follow his Messenger (saws). They also should know that there is no Jannah (paradise) but by living the Islamic way of life in totality. ''Those who obey me will enter Jannah''.
