Differentiating an Ideology and its Adherents

Frequently Asked Question:
Muslims trumpet Islam as the correct ideology, So why do Muslims massacre fellow Muslims ?

The same reason why the Aztecs, Incas, Olmecs, Toltecs, and all the great civilizations of America were annihilated and pillaged by the Christian missionaries who worked in collusion with the conquistadors; the same reason why Christian Europe ransacked the entire world in the name of Capitalist greed and imperialism, a tradition which continues until today; the same reason why hundreds of thousands of Muslims and Jews were butchered by the Christian Inquisition; the same reason why intellectuals, scientists, and thinkers were burned at the stake by the Christian authorities, the same reason why Europe squandered in poverty and choking oppression while the clergy got a free ride, meanwhile justifying such a miserable status quo with the notion that this was the ''Will of God'' - EVEN THOUGH Christians are taught in Christianity to ''love thy neighbor'' and ''do good to others.''

There is a difference between CHRISTIANS and CHRISTIANITY. At least I have the sense to distinguish between the two. Thus, my rejecting Christianity is because the IDEA OF CHRISTIANITY is wrong, based upon my research and study. If I were convinced that Christianity is correct, then I would become a Christian, even if all the other Christians on this earth were scum-sucking bottom dwellers. Let them all go to hell if that is what they choose, and I will be the only one who is saved by adhering to the Truth, because on the Day of Judgment, I will be accountable for myself alone. Therefore, if you want to question Islam, learn to distinguish between ISLAM as an idea and MUSLIMS as human beings, who are prone to making mistakes and straying from the truth like any other human being.

That is to say, I have the sense and the objectivity to analyze an idea on its own merit and decide whether it is correct or not, regardless of whatever actions are carried out by those human beings who claim adherence to the idea in question. Therefore, in this context, when I state that Atheism is false, I do so on grounds that I reject ATHEISM as an idea; what ATHEISTS do and how ATHEISTS behave has no bearing on this conclusion because what I base my conclusion upon is the incorrectness of the idea itself and its failure to offer a correct explanation of reality based on conclusive evidence.
